Jack Norton Warranty
We will refund or replace the product if a major failure occurs.
We will repair or replace the product if the product fails to be of acceptable quality and the failure does not amount to a major failure.
Steps to make a claim:
Email Jack Norton Fishing and advise them of the issue; attach images if possible.

We will repair or replace any tool that fails to give satisfactory service, on the condition that the tool has not been abused or modified and that it is returned to Jack Norton—PO Box 2385, Mildura, Victoria, 3502.

Issues that are not covered by Jack Norton Warranty
1/ Misusing or abusing Jack Norton products:
(a) For instance, misusing the product as a hammer or a lever.
(b) Excessive wear and tear to the products that has resulted from misuse and abuse.
(c) The product has been tampered with.
(d) The warranty was made fraudulently or by misrepresentation.
(e) The product has been used or operated outside of the product's use limitations.
(f) The product has been subjected to abnormal physical stress, misuse, negligence, or accident.
(g) Removing fishhooks with an incorrect tool, a tool whose primary use is not removing hooks.
2/ Altering Jack Norton products:
(a) For instance, thinning out of products purposely to increase the operating space.
(b) Altering the thin open end of the product resulted in distortion of the product.
3/ Imposing an improper external force on Jack Norton products:
(a) For instance, adding an additional steel pipe to the product's handle to enhance leverage.
(b) Imposing an increased strong force on products can easily cause damage and distortion to the product.
(c) Cutting thick-gauge wire with a product, resulting in damage to the jaws and blade.
(d) We don’t warranty cutting blades, as they can sometimes get damaged from contact with hard surfaces or from general misuse. Cutting blades, plier jaws, carabiners, sheaths and lanyards, and gripper weighing springs are not covered, as they are replaceable and may wear due to normal use.
(e) Warranty does not apply where the goods are to be for business purposes.
DO NOT use tools as pry bars, levers, punches, or chisels
DO NOT use tools to hammer/strike the bolts and nuts
DO NOT use tools to tighten or loosen the bolts and nuts.
Products not listed or described as having a warranty come with either a 12 or 24-month warranty depending on the individual product.
The above notations and conditions 1, 2, and 3 apply to all products.
